Are you STILL Smoking?!!!!!!!!!

STOP SMOKING ,FRANKSTON

stopsmoking

Most people know already that they are smoking due to a habit and psychological addiction/associations NOT because they enjoy it. How many times do you light up and after just a few drags think "I didn't even want that". Most people smoke long after they truly enjoy it. Why, because they think the addiction has such a hold on them. Did you know the physical addiction of cigarettes is only a small part of the problem....it’s the psychological addiction you have to work on.

That is  where I come in. I combine my skills as a Clinical Counsellor and Clinical Hypnotherapist and address both the cognitive part of your brain with reframes,Neuro Lingusitic programing, and the subconscious with hypnosis giving you what you need to stop permanently. Some Hypnotists don't believe it is necessarily to address the cognitive brain, they just address it subconsciously. But if you don't address what the person perceives cigarettes are replacing then you either turn to smoking 6 months later or you replace 1 addiction for another, like food.

Most Stop Smoking programs are upwards of $600.00 .My price of $300 for both sessions or $350 ofr my intensive STOP NOW is extremely fair.So what are you waiting for....wouldn't you rather pay off your mortgage, go on a cruise to Alaska, buy a small home or get that car you've always wanted. Not to mention taking back the reins to your health , smelling clean, breathing fresh air and adding to your longevity account.

I wonder how your life would be different if you took back control of your health?

Become a NON-SMOKER NOW

Hypnosis; a positive approach to stop smoking

Would you like to stop smoking?

Would you like to stop without a feeling of deprivation?

Would you like to take back control of your health?

The stopping smoking session or sessions will include hypnotherapy techniques, positive affirmations and suggestions. At the end you will be given a stop smoking CD to take away so that you can continue to reinforce the suggestions in your own time.

The cost of a hypnotherapy session for stopping smoking will be minimal compared to the financial and health costs incurred during a lifetime of smoking.

Quitting smoking should not be difficult or unpleasant. Granted nicotine is a difficult substance to go without when giving up smoking, but after a few days it is out of your system and most smokers agree that quitting smoking for a few days is difficult but very achievable.

So that's it, few tricky days and then a lifetime of freedom. So why hasn't it been that easy previously? Simple - you didn't deal with the psychological addiction of smoking. In fact, you probably put cigarettes up on some kind of a pedestal.

If you think that stopping smoking is depriving you of something, then it is just a matter of time until you start again. Hypnotherapy is ideal for this. Using hypnosis, you can deal with all of the emotional and psychological aspects of giving up smoking.

Hypnotherapy has enjoyed a high success rate with smoking cessation and stopping smoking is one of the most common reasons why people consult hypnotherapists. When quitting smoking, it best not to dwell on negative aspects such as ill health, but instead to aim for positive outcomes such as good health, fitness, freedom and energy.

Common Sense Reasons For Giving Up Smoking

    • Health, naturally. Smoking is one of the biggest contributory factors to premature death around the globe. Give yourself and those non-smokers around you better quality of life and health.
    • Social acceptability. Smoking is increasingly becoming an unacceptable social practice. Increasingly and throughout the world many workplaces, bars, restaurants and even public places now prohibit smoking.
    • Cost. Smoking is undoubtedly an expensive habit and a drain on every smoker's finances. Stop filling the tobacco companies' wallets and keep the cash for yourself. Save money and spend it on those things you genuinely enjoy.
    • Escape from its grip. Nicotine is just like any other addictive narcotic. Addiction to any drug is a debilitating and uncomfortable way to lead your life. Stop cigarettes dictating your life and take control of it yourself

    Therapies used

    Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Of all psychotherapies CBT has the strongest evidential backing and is now the treatment of choice. CBT aims to change thoughts and behaviors to bring about positive changes.

    Clinical Hypnotherapy

Clinical Hypnotherapy works by taking you into a state of heightened suggestibility where your critical mind takes a break and I can work directly and deeply with your imagination and subconscious to create new beliefs, patterns and habits.

    CBT & Hypnotherapy combined

Research studies where CBT abd Hypnotherapy are applied together have shown that they are strongly complementary and their effectiveness is raised many times when used in combination.

    What Happens in a Session?

First I have a phone interview to assess your habit and motivation. If I don’t think your motivation is strong enough or if you have a lot of current stress in your life (for example a recent divorce) I will not recommend we proceed at that time as I don’t want you wasting your money and effort. Providing your motivation is good and the choice is clearly yours, I will arrange the first of your 2 appointments.

    Smoking Cessation Success Rates

'Hypnosis is the most effective way of giving up smoking, according to the largest ever scientific comparison of ways of breaking the habit.' - New Scientist v136

In 1992 New Scientist Magazine published the results of an extensive clinical study on the most effective smoking cessation methods. A meta-analysis, statistically combining the results of more than 600 studies (over 72,000 individual cases) showed that single session hypnosis increased a smoker's success chance by 100% from 6% to 60%. Here are the success rates for different smoking cessation methods:

    60% - Single session Hypnosis

    24% - Acupuncture

10% - Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT)

    6% - Willpower alone

These impressive figures are for hypnosis alone - and include many hypnotherapists using hypnosis alone and often antiquated methods. Using modern clinical hypnotherapy combined with cognitive behavioral therapy these results will improve considerably.

It's never to late too quit!

It's never too late to stop smoking. According to the American Cancer Society, about half of all smokers who keep smoking will die from a smoking-related disease. Quitting has immediate health benefits.
