Into the Dark™

An Immersive Depth Psychology Experience

Hypnosis Session

Depth Archetype & Shadow Inquiry journeying hypnosis Session
90 Minutes | $275 | Online or in person

This session offers a structured depth psychology exploration designed to help individuals better understand the underlying psychological patterns shaping their inner life, relationships, and decision-making. Drawing from the traditions of mindfulness, hypnosis, Jungian psychology, archetypal theory, existential philosophy, and trauma-informed psychotherapy, the session guides participants through a reflective inquiry into the deeper structures of the psyche.

The work begins by identifying several primary psychological archetypes that may be influencing how you experience the world. Archetypes—first described in depth by the Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung—are universal psychological patterns that shape identity, motivation, behavior, and meaning-making across the lifespan. Through guided questioning and reflective dialogue, we examine how these archetypal patterns may be operating within your personal narrative.

From this foundation, the session moves into a deeper layer of inquiry exploring the shadow aspects of the psyche. In Jungian psychology, the shadow refers to the parts of ourselves that remain outside conscious awareness—often including disowned emotions, fears, internal conflicts, protective defenses, and unresolved experiences. These elements frequently influence behavior, beliefs, attachments, and relational dynamics in ways that are not immediately visible.

Using depth-oriented reflective questioning, the session explores:

• Core identity themes and dominant archetypal patterns
• Psychological blocks or repeating life patterns
• Unconscious fears and avoided emotions
• Internal belief systems, schemas, and relational attachments
• Personal shadows that may be limiting growth or clarity
• Pathways for psychological integration and forward movement

The aim is not simply self-analysis but meaningful psychological insight—helping you understand how the deeper structures of the psyche may be influencing the present moment and how greater awareness can support personal transformation.

An Immersive Depth Psychology Experience

Into the Dark™ is a carefully designed experiential session that invites you into a deeper encounter with the inner psyche through guided hypnotherapy, symbolic exploration, and reflective depth inquiry.

The session gently guides participants into a deeply relaxed state where the imagination becomes a doorway into the symbolic language of the psyche. In this space the unconscious mind often reveals itself not through logic, but through image, sensation, metaphor, and meaning.

Participants move through a carefully guided inner landscape where archetypal symbols, emotional impressions, and intuitive insights emerge naturally. These symbolic experiences often illuminate patterns that may have been influencing relationships, decisions, fears, aspirations, and personal identity without fully entering conscious awareness.

Unlike traditional talk based sessions, this experience engages the mind, body, and imagination simultaneously. Sensory awareness is deliberately activated throughout the journey, encouraging participants to slow down, observe more deeply, and experience the subtle language through which the psyche communicates.

Many people find that when the senses are fully engaged, insights arise that feel less like intellectual analysis and more like recognition , a quiet moment of seeing something about oneself with unexpected clarity.

Into the Dark™ therefore operates less like a conversation and more like an encounter with the deeper architecture of the self.

Participants often describe the experience as reflective, evocative, and surprisingly revealing. The process is designed to gently explore unconscious themes, archetypal influences, and internal narratives that may be shaping how a person experiences the present moment.

The aim is not to impose interpretation, but to create a space where the psyche can express itself symbolically and where personal meaning can emerge organically.

Because the experience works with imagery, sensation, and symbolic perception, each journey is unique. No two individuals encounter the inner landscape in exactly the same way.

What This Experience Can Support

Into the Dark™ may help individuals explore:

patterns that feel repetitive or difficult to understand
hidden emotional material influencing present life choices
unconscious beliefs about identity and self worth
inner conflicts between different parts of the psyche
creative and intuitive dimensions of the self
new perspectives on meaning, direction, and personal agency

The session invites participants to observe their internal landscape with curiosity rather than judgement, allowing deeper layers of psychological awareness to emerge naturally.

What Makes This Experience Unique

Into the Dark™ integrates several powerful traditions within a single guided experience:

Jungian archetypal psychology
existential reflection and meaning making
Lacanian inquiry into identity and projection
symbolic and sensory immersion
guided hypnotherapy and imagination based exploration
trauma informed depth oriented practice

This integration creates an experience that is both psychologically grounded and deeply personal.

Rather than simply discussing change, the process allows participants to encounter insights directly through the symbolic language of the psyche.

After the Session

Following the experience, participants receive a reflection and integration guide designed to help them continue exploring the symbolic elements that appeared during the journey.

This guide acts as a personal map of the inner terrain explored during the session. It provides language and prompts that help translate the images, sensations, and symbolic impressions into meaningful psychological understanding.

Many participants find that the insights revealed during the session continue to deepen over time as they revisit the reflections and consider how the symbolic themes relate to their life story, relationships, and emerging direction.

A Final Reflection

The unconscious mind rarely speaks in direct language.

It speaks through image, sensation, and symbol.

Into the Dark™ offers a guided opportunity to encounter that language and explore the hidden dimensions of the psyche with curiosity, courage, and openness.

For those who are interested in understanding themselves more deeply, the journey inward can often illuminate the path forward.

My approach integrates over 30 years of professional work and personal study in trauma, Jungian psychology, existential philosophy, and symbolic analysis. I was first introduced to these traditions in my early twenties during my formal training and they have remained a central foundation of both my personal development and professional therapeutic work.

Existential psychology and philosophy have particularly influenced my understanding of the human condition. This perspective recognizes that individuals are continually navigating questions of identity, responsibility, freedom, suffering, and meaning within a complex social and relational world. Depth psychology provides a framework for examining the unconscious dimensions of these questions—where archetypes, symbols, memories, and emotional experiences converge to shape our inner life.

This session therefore offers a guided exploration of the “inner landscape”, the psychological terrain beneath everyday consciousness where beliefs, fears, attachments, and aspirations quietly organize experience.

The work is exploratory, reflective, and collaborative. It is intended for individuals who are seeking greater psychological insight, personal clarity, and a deeper understanding of their internal patterns.
